Stalin’s cottage (Dacha) in Sochi was built in 1937. This dark green building is located on the top of a mountain range between Matsestinskaya valley and Agura canyon. Most rooms of this macabre place (although in a very nice place among pine trees) are rented to tourists now.

Stalin’s small private cinema and a billiard room were converted into a small museum. A local guide can tell you a little about Stalin’s life in Sochi, and show you even more rooms if the hotel is not very busy. There is also a small cafй where you can have lunch or a drink.

Location: 20 min drive from Sochi centre.
